The hard part about starting a blog is not adding design or content. It’s all the social media! It could drive a person crazy deciding which social media sites to create accounts on. As a start, I’m using Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram.

I want to have profile names that match my blog’s name early in the process. I may not start posting to social media until later but I will control the names as least. With this in mind say hello to “MDTravelStories” on Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram. They’re generic profiles right now but it’s a start. I can create business pages on Facebook and Google + later.

I know there are other social media sites I should add. The problem is, I don’t want to turn a part-time hobby into a full-time chore. I have to draw the line somewhere. I’m very sorry to all the sites I missed!
