This historic town near the top of Maryland’s Eastern Shore is defined by the canal that divides it and the bridge soaring above that unites it.

Built on the Chesapeake and Delaware Canal, Chesapeake City celebrates its place in history with a museum. The C&D Canal has connected the Chesapeake and Delaware bays, making shipping between Baltimore and Philadelphia more efficient, for more than 100 years.
