Broom’s Bloom Dairy – 5th Stop on the 2015 Maryland Ice Cream Trail

Broom’s Bloom Dairy in Harford County – 5th stop on the 2015 Maryland Ice Cream Trail #MDIceCream

1700 S. Fountain Green Road (MD 543), Bel Air, MD 21015 / 410-399-COWS (2697) / Call for current hours or check the website.

Don’t forget to ask the question of the day, “How many pounds of whole milk does it take to produce 1 gallon of ice cream?”

Don’t forget to get your passport stamped! You have until September 23rd to visit all 8 locations on the 2015 trail. Bring a cooler to carry all the ice cream and other items you can purchase.

This place has great ice cream and a very friendly staff. It’s more of a restaurant than a creamery. The cream of crab soup and sun dried tomato quiche were both fantastic! There was a line going out the door of people waiting to order. It’s worth a day trip!
